This is weird, I’m 37 years old and I’ve lived in the developed Western world all my life but yesterday was the first time I ever saw a film in 3D!!!
I decided to treat my sister’s two kids to a film and more popcorn and choclate than is sensible to give an eleven and thirteen year old and they decided that they wanted to see ‘Spy Kids 3′! I saw the first one over Xmas in my Gran Canarian hotel room and thought it was fun – mainly because of Alan Cummings who is a divine actor. I have to say that this film was not so good – then again I wasn’t one of the aforementioned children strung out on sugar, sugar and, oh yes, caffeine! They loved it though and I’m now the favourite uncle again.

I’m off to see Tomb Raider 2 tomorrow with the Boyf. his choice. It’s funny really, on eBay I must be becoming infamous for my ruthless battles to win auctions for films by Almodovar, Fassbinder, Cocteau, Bergman, Kieslowski and Fellini etc, but what do I go and see in the local ‘Palace of Culture’?! Still, I’m a Gemini and we are always at home wherever we are.
