I’ve booked to go to Gran Canaria (again!) in December. this time though it won’t be the big gay-fest that it has been in the past. The first week I’m with my mom and dad!! I haven’t been on holiday with them since I was a kid though when they visited me in Prague we took a few days together in Krakov. It should be fun but just in case it isn’t I have booked the extra week just for me. I’m quite nervous about holidaying alone, it’s been a while since I’ve done it but I keep telling myself it is going to be great! One week of chilling out, catching up on my reading and swimming when I feel like it. Eating out alone there will be weird though.

my husband used to go to Prague quite often.
yes, reading has been my companion on lonesome journey. and meditation. this way you can look up thoughtfully, scan the natives, then go back to reading. lol.
i hate eating by myself. i even pretend to make calls on my mobile, so i ‘look like’ i have friends that were ‘supposed to join me’. lol. oh well. i guess your books will have to do. what shall you read?

What a coincidence: for the first time in years I’ll having a short holiday with my parents as well! A long weekend in Rome on Friday. Bit of a strange feeling indeed. But then on Thursday I’ll be going to Mykonos for a week – alone! And it’s really great – I look forward to it!
