The Tall Ships
St George's Market, my Saturday morning habit these days!
Apart from my now usual trip to Saint George's market to buy my delicious fish, organic veggies and sundry home made crafts and foodstuffs later today I am also wandering over to see the Tall Ships. This seems to be a very big deal over here just now and I will tell you more about it when I've seen them.
Lots and lots of baked goods on offer - thank heavens I make my own bread so I can usually pass them by!
That's my fishmonger in the blue coat - a nice friendly guy who makes sure I get good fish.

Good times. I love market places. And I cannot wait for your tall ship report. My daughter and I stayed the weekend on old sailing vessels back when she was in eighth grade for a school trip. I slept in the hull of the ship. It was a fantastic weekend. I am excited for you photo report, yay!
The Tall Ships were in Liverpool a few months ago - I saw them on TV- very exciting ! I used to shop at the market but don't do it often enough these days - it's so much easier to buy every thing in the supermarket. Shame on me ! I will make a effort to shop there very soon as you have jogged my conscience.
